Sailing to ParadiseAbout Us Captain Michel Roatta was born in Miami, Florida in 1955. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Zoology degree. He completed his Masters in Massage/Rolfing. His passions also include the martial arts, music, & snow skiing. He always was on the water one way or another. From SCUBA diving, being one of the first windsurfers on Hobie beach, to sailing. He usually was in possession of a sailing vessel. From Hobie Cats to his 1941 Schnider Cutter Sloop and then to the Dragon King. He met his wife, Barbara, in 1991 and got married in 2000. They lived aboard the Schnider sloop, "Red Dog" for a couple of years before they found the Dragon King. Jackie was born in 2003 and when she was almost 2, they embarked on the trip to Arkansas. Another baby was created in Key West during the trip. Lilliane was born in February in Camden, Arkansas, six months after arriving. She's pictured below.
